Autumn is the season for fevers. Most resolve at home with rest and fluids.

Seek care if a fever persists beyond three days, or sooner in the very young or very old.

Keep prescriptions current before the winter period. Clinics are quieter in September.

Residents enrolled in seasonal programmes need take no action; your clinic will contact you.
